Alex has served as our primary physical therapist and PT Clinic Director at Pinnacle Surgical Orthopedics since June 2024. Alex was born in Jacksonville, Florida where he was raised until leaving home to study. In 2017, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with his bachelor’s degree in Biological Health Sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa. He then went on to get his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, where he participated in state- and federal-level PT Advocacy meetings and professional conferences during his time outside of class.
During his training, he gained nearly a year of practical training across different settings including the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, the Toledo Clinic, Barrow Neurological Institute (Phoenix), and University of Colorado Sports Medicine. After graduating from his physical therapy program, Alex worked as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist for a private practice in Boston, Massachusetts for nearly three years. Since graduating, he has completed continuing education with the Institute of Clinical Excellence for cervical spine and extremity management, as well as Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (MDT) techniques for the lumbar spine.
Alex relocated to Nashville in June 2023 with his wife Kristen and their dog Jax. Alex enjoys playing basketball, paddleboarding, playing guitar, and hiking/walking with his wife and dog.
