A board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Dr. Sean Kaminsky specializes in shoulder surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Kaminsky has years of treating shoulder injuries including the care of a multitude of professionals from both the medical and sports industry.
Of the patients entrusted to the care of Dr. Kaminsky, thousands have returned to their very healthy and happy lifestyles. Dr. Kaminsky is ranked as the top 1% of all Orthopedic Surgeons in the state of Tennessee and in the top 2% nationally according to Healthgrades.com. He serves as a consultant to orthopedic companies and is often asked to review and evaluate the latest equipment and concepts for shoulder surgery. As a renowned instructor for shoulder surgery, Dr. Kaminsky teaches other orthopedic surgeons the newest and most advanced techniques at courses around the country. He has lectured at conferences from coast to coast, including Washington DC, California, Ohio, Colorado, Tennessee, and Nevada, and he has published a number of research studies. Locally, Dr. Kaminsky serves on the medical executive committee and peer review council for TriStar Summit Medical Center. He is known for expressing a passion for the excellence in the field of shoulder surgery, in addition to the well-being his patients. Dr. Kaminsky enjoys getting to know each patient personally.
